I realized along the way the best canoes are built with a few carvers sharing there gift. I think everything we are doing has been done before maybe at a different weight but the shapes are timeless. an elder told me once, you can see it in your head (the perfect shape) and to stay focused on that . do not carve other peoples design are you could lose yours.
